During Week 8, 8 Grange Primary students – Ava Mackenzie, Julia Faulkner, Lakeisha Sheffield, Matilda Stock, Madison Martin, Chloe Berggren-Levitt, Evie Greig and Breanna Morton competed in the 2020 SAPSASA Netball Carnival representing the Western District, held at Priceline Stadium, Mile End.
The team consisted of 12 Year 6 and 7 players selected from school across the Western District.
The girls played 9 matches over the two and a half days of competition and did an amazing job to win all 9 matches, finishing undefeated and top of Division 2. The girls worked exceptionally well as a team displaying a high level of skill as well as demonstrating great sportsmanship.
They should be very proud of their efforts and achievement, they certainly did Grange Primary proud!
